No Dot Now

Draft — pending legal review, not yet reviewed by a Swiss lawyer

Terms of Use

Effective 17 August 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Operator

No Dot Now is operated by Hyper Super SNC, Rue d'Italie 14, 1800 Vevey, Switzerland (“No Dot Now”, “we”, “us”). Questions or legal notices can be sent to info@hypersuper.ch.

2. What this is

No Dot Now is a public, evolving collection of short texts written by anyone, organized around words. Anyone can open a word and add to what’s already there — nothing is ever rewritten or deleted by a user. Contributions are written by users and don’t represent our views. We don’t guarantee that user content is accurate, complete, lawful, or available without interruption.

3. Acceptance

By using No Dot Now, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Notice. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

4. Names and access codes

You can write without any name, or create an optional pseudonym (“handle”) protected by a password you choose. There is no public profile, no follower count, no statistics tied to a handle. You’re responsible for keeping your password to yourself — we cannot recover it if you lose it, and we don’t offer a “forgot password” flow. Don’t use a name to impersonate someone else.

5. Contribution rules

Each contribution is limited in length and goes through automatic checks before publishing. We block email addresses, web links (including bare domains), emojis, and attempts to inject HTML or script code, and we run automated content classification when available. Content may also be marked for human review or removed afterwards. There is no limit on how many times you can contribute to a word — that accumulation is the point of the product.

6. Content you must not submit

  • Credible threats, incitement to violence, or unlawful targeted hatred;
  • Unlawful discrimination, harassment, stalking, or intimidation;
  • Sexual content involving minors, or anything endangering children;
  • Non-consensual intimate content;
  • Someone else’s personal or confidential information;
  • Terrorism or violent-extremist praise, recruitment, or operational content;
  • Scams, fraud, phishing, malware, or attempts to exploit the service;
  • Unlawful sale or promotion of regulated or illegal goods or services;
  • Infringement of someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.

Discussing, quoting, reporting on, or condemning sensitive subjects is not by itself a violation — context matters, and content is reviewed by a human before removal wherever practical.

7. Rights in your contribution

You keep whatever rights you have in what you write. By publishing it, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and moderate it — only as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the right to grant this licence, and that you’re not sharing anything you don’t want to be public: once published, a contribution can be read, copied, or archived by anyone with the page’s exact key.

8. Moderation and reports

Anyone can report a specific passage of text. A report doesn’t automatically remove anything, and the number of reports alone is never treated as proof of a violation — a page is only ever hidden automatically after reaching a large, deliberately high number of reports, as a last resort. We may also keep, restrict, or remove content based on applicable law and these Terms.

9. Availability and changes

No Dot Now is a small, independently operated project. We may change, interrupt, or discontinue features, and we don’t promise uninterrupted availability or that every contribution will be preserved forever.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, No Dot Now is not liable for user-generated content or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.

11. Data protection

See the Privacy Notice for how we handle data. Please don’t include personal contact details or someone else’s personal information in a public contribution.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and effective date are always shown at the top of this page.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you and cannot be waived, the competent courts are those of Vevey, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@hypersuper.ch.
